Ray VEGA

Jazz at the Junction is back due to popular demand! Northern Stage is pleased to announce an added concert in January, featuring the Ray Vega QuARTet. A native of the South Bronx, Ray Vega (Trumpet/ Flugelhorn) is a Burlington-based world-class Jazz musician and educator, making his Northern Stage debut with Jeremy Hill (bass), Geza Carr (drums), and Evan Allen (piano). The night will feature a program of original composition, timeless classics from the Great American Songbook, and works by jazz masters John Coltrane and Duke Ellington. Grab a drink at the bar, and settle in at the Byrne Theater for a night of celebrating the jazz greats from Vermont and beyond.
